Krish Bhagat is a right-arm medium-pacer from Punjab who offers added value with the bat lower down the order. Still in the early stages of his professional career, Bhagat has featured in seven first-class matches and nine List A games, picking 16 wickets. While primarily known for his seam bowling, he has shown the ability to contribute with the bat when required. His standout effort came in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he scored a composed 51 off 65 balls from number eight against Uttarakhand, highlighting his temperament and utility in the lower order. Bhagat’s association with Mumbai Indians has been developing behind the scenes. He had trialled with MI twice and was part of their pre-season setup this year. That familiarity has now translated into an opportunity, with MI signing him as a replacement player for 2026 TATA IPL. With a chance to be around an experienced squad and learn closely from established names, Bhagat will be looking to make the most of this opportunity and push for a breakthrough at the highest level.
